Pay Range: $33 - $59/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide safe, high-quality, individualized NICU patient care using the nursing process
• Deliver patient- and family-centered neonatal care aligned with population-specific needs
• Monitor, assess, and respond to critically ill newborns in a fast-paced environment
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams and participate in rounds and care planning
• Perform accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Educate and communicate effectively with families regarding care plans and progress
• Follow evidence-based neonatal nursing practices and clinical standards
• Support quality improvement, patient safety, and shared governance initiatives
• Serve as a preceptor/mentor to nurses, staff, or students as assigned

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Key Skills;Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Georgia or Compact)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
• NICU or acute neonatal direct patient care experience (minimum 2 years preferred)
• Strong neonatal assessment, critical thinking, and clinical judgment skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and time-management skills
• Proficiency with clinical technology and electronic documentation
• Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Licensure & Certifications (required upon hire):
• Active RN License (Single-State of Georgia or Compact)
• BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• Minimum 1 years of direct patient care RN experience
• Ability to work night shift (for this specific role)
• Ability to deliver individualized care in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Commitment to Hospital care standards, safety policies, and code of conduct
