Pay Range: $45 - $50/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide urological testing and related urinary care services to patients with lower urinary tract disorders on an inpatient and outpatient basis
• Apply the nursing process to assess and care for adult and geriatric urology patients
• Prepare patients for urological procedures through education, obtaining lab work, and initiating venous access as needed
• Explain procedures and provide age-appropriate pre-procedure and post-procedure instructions to patients and their families
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
• Assist physicians with urological examinations, specimen collections, and venipuncture
• Monitor patients during and after procedures, reporting changes in condition and aiding in emergency measures as required
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with hospital policies
• Practice proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital and departmental policies
• Maintain supplies and equipment specific to the urology practice
• Provide emotional support and facilitate coping for patients and families living with urological conditions
• Schedule -Shift: 8-hour Day Shift (approximately 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM), Monday through Friday
• Duration: 13 weeks (05/18/2026 – 08/15/2026)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Overtime: Daily OT after 24 hours (based on multiplier); Weekly OT after 40 hours (based on multiplier)
• On-Call: No

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Must-Have Skills:-Minimum 2 years of recent experience within urology or related specialty
• Active RN license in the State of Georgia or valid eNLC compact multi-state license
• AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification – required
• AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification – required
• Experience providing urological testing and related urinary care services
• Strong patient assessment, education, and communication skills
• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Licensure/Certification:-Active RN license in the State of Georgia or valid eNLC compact multi-state license – required
• AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) – required
• AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – required
• National Certification in Clinical Specialty (e.g., CURN) – preferred
• Experience:-Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an RN post-orientation or post-residency training – required
• Experience in urology, medical-surgical, or outpatient clinic setting strongly preferred
• Experience providing urological testing and related urinary care services to patients with lower urinary tract disorders
• Skills:-Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
• Excellent patient education and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in an outpatient specialty practice
• Proficiency in venipuncture and IV initiation
• Commitment to patient safety and infection control
• Basic mathematical skills for medication calculations
