Accountant -Inventory & Revenue Accountant

Pay Range: $25 - $38/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain inventory accounting processes, including tracking, valuation, and reconciliation 
• Perform revenue accounting, ensuring accurate recognition and reporting 
• Prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy 
• Execute account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies 
• Support month-end and year-end close processes 
• Analyze financial data and identify trends or inconsistencies 
• Collaborate with operations, finance, and accounting teams 
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards 

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Skills-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 
• 3+ years of accounting experience 
• Strong experience with SAP or similar ERP systems 
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis) 
• Experience with account reconciliations and general ledger accounting 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
• Experience in oil & gas, energy, manufacturing, or midstream environments 
• Exposure to inventory-heavy accounting processes 
• Experience with reconciliation tools (e.g., BlackLine, Trintech, or similar)
