Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Care & Coordination: Rapidly assess, triage, and evaluate patients with diverse and often critical conditions.
• Develop and implement dynamic care plans, applying independent clinical judgment in a high-acuity environment.
• Prioritize patient flow, deliver safe and effective emergency care, and maintain precise documentation.
• Patient Advocacy & Satisfaction: Provide empathetic communication and thorough patient/family education during stressful situations. 
• Embrace patient- and family-centered care to ensure a supportive experience and maintain high satisfaction.
• Performance Improvement: Actively seek and contribute to initiatives that improve ED workflows, patient outcomes, and operational efficiency.
• Professional Competency & Growth: Maintain all required credentials. Stay current with emergency nursing best practices and research, and pursue opportunities for ongoing professional development.
• Professional Leadership: Contribute to a positive, supportive work culture. 
• Adhere to the highest standards of safety, confidentiality, and professional integrity, and participate in shared governance principles.

Key Requirements:

• Key Skills;Current RN license (Georgia or Compact State)
• Current BLS certification (required upon hire)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience• 
• Substantial experience in an Emergency Department or other critical care setting• 
• requiredo Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) is 
• preferredo Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is 
• Current RN License in the State of Georgia or a Multi-State Compact License.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required upon hire.
• ACLS, PALS, and/or TNCC are highly desirable and often preferred for ED roles.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience is required.
• Recent experience in an Emergency Department, ICU, or other critical care setting is essential.
• Exceptional clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills under pressure.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills for high-stress situations.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment and work effectively within a team.
• Strong organizational skills and adaptability.
