Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyse and report verbal and written member and provider complaints, grievances and appeals.
- Prepare response letters for member and provider complaints, grievances and appeals.
- Maintain files on individual appeals and grievances.
- Manage large volumes of documents including copying, faxing and scanning incoming mail.
- Volume is provided daily to process.
- Shift (Start/End Time): Training (2 days then released but managers available for any questions) and working schedule.
- Mon-Friday 8am-5pm EST 1 hour lunch no OT.
- Target start date: Start 4/21 / ASAP.
- Key Skills:Grievance & Appeals, Claims, Managed care.
- Clerical
- Appeals
- Organizational, Strong oral, written, and problem solving skills.
- Health insurance background
- 2+ years appeals and/or claims or related managed care experience. Strong oral, written, and problem solving skills.
- Appeals background.
