Pay Range: $33 - $59 /hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

• Perform comprehensive assessments and implement the nursing process to deliver individualized, evidence-based care.

• Support complex patient needs across the LTAC spectrum, including ventilator weaning, wound care, and chronic illness management.

• Document care accurately and in a timely manner.
• Promote a respectful, inclusive, and collaborative clinical environment.
• Participate in shared governance, interdisciplinary rounds, and case reviews.

• Complete and maintain all required competencies, education, and training.
• Serve as a mentor or preceptor to fellow nurses, students, and support staff.
• Support a healthy professional environment and model excellence in nursing practice.
• Evidence-Based Practice & Research
• Utilize evidence-based practice, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and contribute to research-related activities.
• Follow regulatory, legal, and accreditation standards—supporting patient safety and compliance efforts.
• Participate in data collection and the evaluation of clinical questions and processes.
• Resources & Support
• Plan proactively for patient needs across the care continuum.
• Assist in developing protocols and care procedures to support optimal outcomes.
• Use resources efficiently to support safe, effective LTAC operations.
• Help reduce adverse events, avoidable days, and readmissions through best practices.

• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies with calm and confidence.
• Strong critical thinking, time management, and analytical nursing skills.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to use clinical technology and documentation systems.
• Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Licensure & Certifications (required upon hire):
• Active RN License (Single-State or Compact)
• BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• Minimum 1 year of direct patient care experience preferred.
