Registered Nurse (RN) - Acute Care

Pay Range: $33 - $59/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Shift: Night Shifts.
- Perform the complete nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation) to deliver safe, effective care.
- Float across various acute care units based on hospital needs, ensuring flexibility and adaptability.
- Provide individualized, relationship-based care to diverse patient populations.
- Partner with patients and families to ensure education, communication, and inclusion in care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and participate in rounds, case reviews, and other care coordination activities.
- Document all care accurately and promptly in accordance with hospital policies and regulations.
- Promote teamwork and a respectful, inclusive environment.
- Support performance improvement initiatives, research, and evidence-based practice.
- Serve as a mentor or preceptor to new nurses and students.
- Skills-Registered Nurse (RN) Med/Surge or acute care.
- Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing.
- Bachelor’s Degree (BSN) preferred
- Current Georgia RN license (or Multi-State Compact RN license).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Knowledge of nursing theory, clinical practices, and regulations.
- Ability to assess, plan, and evaluate patient care across multiple settings.
- Strong communication and teaching skills.
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in emergency situations.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
