Surgical technologist

Pay Range: $40/hr - $44/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, Sign- on Bonus, Reallocation Bonus and paid sick leave (depending on work location).Key Responsibilities:

• Monday – Friday
• 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM
• No call, weekends, or holidays
• Prepare and maintain sterile field for surgical procedures
• Assist surgeons and nursing staff during plastic and reconstructive surgeries
• Ensure proper handling and availability of surgical instruments and supplies
• Anticipate surgeon needs during procedures
• Perform instrument counts and ensure compliance with safety protocols
• Support pre-operative and post-operative activities as needed
• Maintain adherence to infection control and patient safety standards
• Clinical Environment
• This is a specialized outpatient surgery center focused on:
• Plastic surgery
• Reconstructive procedures
• Cosmetic surgeries
• The care team includes:
• Pre-Op RN
• OR RN
• PACU RN
• ERU RN (with overnight capability)
• Surgical Techs
• Support Staff & Operations Coordinator

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• Minimum 2+ years of Surgical Tech experience (within specialty preferred)
• AHA BLS certification (required)
• Experience working in an operating room setting
• Surgical Technologist Certification (NBSTSA or NCCT)
• AHA ACLS certification
• Experience with Cerner
