Pay Range: $33 - $59/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Work Shift: Night Shift (Full-time, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Advanced Critical Care: Perform comprehensive assessments, develop and implement complex care plans, and provide vigilant monitoring and intervention for critically ill patients. Use evidence-based practice and analytical thinking to deliver individualized, high-quality care.
• Patient & Family Advocacy: Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care, offering clear communication, emotional support, and education to patients and their families during stressful times. Demonstrate exceptional customer service and positive energy.
• Team Collaboration & Coordination: Coordinate care seamlessly with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare team members. Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and case reviews to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Leadership & Mentorship: Serve as a preceptor or mentor, modeling professional nursing practice and contributing to the development of a qualified future workforce in a supportive, healthy work environment.
• Quality & Safety: Uphold all organizational policies, safety standards (e.g., TJC), and participate in performance improvement, research utilization, and shared governance initiatives to advance clinical practice.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• Key skills: Registered Nurse (RN), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Critical Care, BLS, ACLS, Night Shift
• Licensure: Current Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license or Multi-State Compact RN license.
• Education: Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing (Diploma or ADN) required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school preferred.
• Certifications: All required upon hire (or provisional status as noted):
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – Provisional acceptance may apply.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of direct patient nursing care experience required. ICU or Critical Care experience is a strong plus and highly preferred.
• Skills: Exceptional interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills with a positive attitude are essential. Must possess strong critical thinking, analytical skills, and the ability to function decisively and calmly in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. Excellent time management and basic computer skills required.
