Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the finance function, including all finance transactions and accounting across multiple towers (AP/AR/GL) and budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, corporate taxation.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements and agreed cut off timelines
- Conduct high quality analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks
- Anchor Strong relationships with Customer stakeholders like Finance Controllers / Business Leads
- Management & Accountability for SLAs/KPIs, Business outcomes, Client Expectations and Contractual Commitments
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies related to finance.
- Ownership to maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions.
- Drive Alignment of processes, people, technology & best practices and ownership to execute the transformation Charter and continuous improvement through Effectiveness, Efficiency and Experience levers
- Automate tasks and leverage technology to streamline finance operations.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of high skilled finance professionals.
- Set performance goals, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
- Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Change Management - Navigating / Helping client transition to a redesigned Operating Model.
- Key Skills; AR, AP, RTR, FP&A
- Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field/MBA (Finance)
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., EA (Enrolled Agent-IRS) CPA, ACCA) are preferred with minimum 10+ years of work experience
- Good working experience and exposure in corporate taxation
- Extensive experience in finance, accounting, and financial management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in managing a team of finance professionals.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge and exposure of accounting standards and regulatory requirements such as US GAAP, IFRS, SEC.
- Experience in working and managing teams in a large F&A Accounts for 3rd party BPOs.
- Experience in Entertainment, Tourism, Hospitality, Financial Services or related industries preferred.
