Pay Range: $25 - $30/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounting Transactions and Reconciliation
• Review and assess financial transactions for assigned accounts.
• Performs and/or reviews account reconciliations and analyses to identify issues in transaction processing.
• Researches and proposes resolution for discrepancies.
• Completes work in accordance with financial controls, firm policies, and regulations and demonstrates accountability/ownership for work completed. 55%
• Oversight and Analysis of Complex Accounting Matters
• Provide oversight and analysis of functions outsourced to service providers. 25%
• Client and Operations Support
• Interaction with other areas of the broader Fund Operations in support of client needs
• Generates ideas and collaborates with others to improve existing processes and communication
• Interacts with associates primarily in operations, investment staff and external customers to research and respond to questions and resolve discrepancies.
• Escalates questions to manager as needed 15%
• Strategic Initiatives
• Supports management on strategic and tactical special projects 5%

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• Key Skills; Mutual Funds, Fund Accounting, Excel
• 2-4 years accounting related experience
• Experience with working with mutual funds / common trust products
• Experience with OUS mutual funds / financial industry
• Strong EXCEL skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Detail oriented
• Problem solving mindset
• Sense of urgency in a team environment
