Pay Range: $43 - $48/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Clinical Practice-Perform full Nursing Process to deliver individualized care
• Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care
• Adapt care delivery to population-specific needs
• Maintain current clinical practice standards
• Teamwork & Collaboration-Coordinate and document safe, high-quality care
• Participate in interdisciplinary communication (rounds, case reviews, etc.)
• Support a respectful and inclusive work environment
• Promote teamwork and retention of healthcare staff
• Professional Development-Complete all mandatory education and competency requirements
• Serve as a preceptor or mentor to other nurses, staff, and students
• Model professional nursing practice and support a healthy work environment
• Evidence-Based Practice & Quality-Promote and participate in evidence-based practice, nursing research, and performance improvement
• Adhere to organizational policies, standards, and regulatory requirements
• Participate in data collection and consult experts to address clinical questions
• Resource & Care Management-Plan patient care across the continuum
• Participate in protocol and procedure development to improve outcomes
• Use human and material resources efficiently
• Contribute to reducing readmissions, avoidable days, and adverse events
• Additional Responsibilities-Comply with organizational policies, standards of work, and code of conduct
• Perform other duties as required

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Skills-Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and customer service skills
• Ability to function in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent time management
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer and technology proficiency
• Ability to perform the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation)
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
• Ability to deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care
• Competent in caring for diverse patient populations across age, gender, and conditions
• Ability to respond to emergencies in a calm and decisive manner
• Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Active RN License (Single-State of Georgia or Compact)
• BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• Minimum 10 years of direct patient care nursing experience
• Ability to work night shift (for this specific role)
• Ability to deliver individualized care in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Commitment to Hospital care standards, safety policies, and code of conduct
